Replace or Cashout
Card expiry
Before your card expires we will contact you to ask if you’d like to transfer the balance to a new card.
Alternatively, just take your valid photo ID to any retailer that sells Cash Passport and load a new one – at this time Euro and British Pounds Cash Passports are only available from US Travelex Retail locations.
Lost or stolen cards
If your card is lost or stolen, contact Cardholder Services immediately so we can cancel it and organize a replacement. Rest assured that your balance is PIN protected and if you have a second card you can still access those funds. If both cards are lost or stolen, we will send you free replacement cards.
Cashout and close
If you would prefer not to keep your card for another trip, you can withdraw your remaining balance (assuming it is within the ATM’s issuing limits) from the card’s payment scheme ATMs eg Visa ATMs for Visa cards. Alternatively, you can take your card back to the place you bought it and have your balance refunded, less any applicable fees.
